Annoucement of Associate Editor Award for Expert Systems with Applications in 2025
Thanks for the editorial team contributions in 2025, ESWA continued to be a leading venue for research at the intersection of intelligent systems and real-world applications. We received more than 36,000 submissions and published more than 4,000 articles, with around 10,000 articles sent out for peer review. The median time from submission to final editorial outcome for standard decisions (after peer review) decreased from 160+ days in 2024 to around 100 days in 2025. These remarkable improvements are a testament to the dedication, collaboration, and tireless effort of our entire editorial team, including editors, associate editors, and reviewers. Their leadership, rigorous decision-making, and mentoring of authors and reviewers have upheld the quality and integrity of ESWA and driven the journal’s continued success.
We are pleased to announce the ESWA Best Assocaiate Editor Award to recognize outstanding service and leadership among our associate editors who have contributed to the journal’s continued success.
