[Master’s  Program]

  1. The graduation credits of the master's program must reach 33 credits plus the master's thesis 6 credits. The courses with the principle of selecting at least one course from each group.
  2. Students who did not graduate from the field related to Industrial Engineering are required to take supplementary courses in "Manufacturing Processes," "Production Planning and Control," and "Quality Control" upon entering the master's program. The department chair or advisor will recommend 1-3 supplementary courses based on the student's undergraduate coursework. Credits may also be given for undergraduate courses with similar content.
  3. "Master's Thesis," "Experimental Design and Statistical Analysis," "Research Methods and Thesis Writing," and "Research Methods in Practice" are required credits, while "Introduction to Data Science and Artificial Intelligence" is a required elective.
  4. " Seminar " is a required elective course, which must be completed for 3 semesters and does not count towards graduation credits.
  5. Students must complete the courses of Academic Ethics Education before you are eligible to apply for degree examinations.

[Ph.D. Program

  1. Doctoral students are required to take at least 28 credits of professional courses offered by the College of Engineering, College of Management, and those specified by the advisor. Additionally, they must complete 12 credits for the doctoral dissertation.
  1. Qualification Examination Requirements:

Doctoral students must pass examinations or complete coursework in four fundamental subjects, in addition, complete the evaluation of the doctoral dissertation proposal.

2.1 One publication in a journal indexed in Scopus (published in English) can exempt one subject of the qualification examination. However, the submission date of the paper must be after enrollment, and it cannot count as one of the two required publications before the degree examination as stipulated in the doctoral program coursework requirements.

2.2 The paper used to exempt the qualification examination must bear the full title of the Department of Industrial Engineering and Management Information Systems and include the name of the advisor. Doctoral students must be the first or second author.

  1. Graduation Requirements:

In addition to passing coursework, completing the qualification examination requirements, and passing the oral defense of the doctoral dissertation, students must publish one journal paper indexed in Scopus and one international conference paper, or two journal papers indexed in Scopus.
